limited-production vehicle created by Rolls Royce to mark the 100th-year
anniversary of its Silver Ghost model. It was unveiled at the Rolls

It is an ultra-luxury sedan vehicle which will see production
numbers of only 25 units and is expected to retail for a little
over $380,000.
Features
The Phantom Silver will carry a 6.75 liter, 48-valve V12 engine
producing usable power of 453 bhp at 5350 rpm and maximum 720 Nm
at 3500 rpm of torque. More impressive, the Phantom Silver can get
up to 560 Nm of torque at just 1000 rpm. It can accelerate from
0 to 60 mph in only 5.9 seconds.
The Phantom Silver's transmission is controlled by a six-speed
automatic gearbox. It features independent double wishbone suspension
at both the front and rear. Built on an aluminum space frame with
200 extruded aluminum profiles and 300 sheet parts, the Phantom
Silver features large dimensions in length, width and height and
weighs over 5200 lbs. The weight is not surprising, considering
the hood alone measures close to 6 feet.
The car features the Phantom's trademark coach doors at the rear,
which opens suicide-style and is equipped with novelty umbrellas.
The Phantom Silver stands on large 21-inch alloy wheels with chrome
center caps.
Luxurious accents representative of the brand adorn the Phantom
Silver such as a pure silver Spirit of Ecstasy, enamel and silver
Conway Stewart pen, solid silver key fob, bespoke drinks holder,
and champagne flute and tumblers with silver details. The seats
and the cabin are wrapped in over 450 pieces of Rose Leaf or Creme
Light leather with embroidered seat piping and headrests. The dash,
accented by numerous panels of Santos Palissander wood veneers,
features elegant white instrument dials and matching bespoke clock.
Legendary
The Phantom has always been an impressive car for its size and
weight. The luxurious changes applied for the Silver edition make
it even more alluring. While perhaps not the most cost-effective
of vehicle purchases, the Phantom Silver is definitely a purchase
of elegance, craftsmanship and style. And, with the historic tale
behind its make, it brings a character that you can't put a price
on.
